Drag and drop an image to set the iChat background

If you drag an image from the desktop into the background of an iChat message window, it will set that image as the background for that window! I found this totally by accident.

[Editor's note: This is a handy shortcut for the View -> Set Chat Background dialog box. But if you do it accidentally (missing the input box when dragging an image to send, for example), you might think you've messed up your iChat when your conversation screen changes dramatically! To undo what you've just done, you can't just drag the image back out of the window. Instead, you have to use View -> Clear Chat Background menu.]
