In response to the tip about using the zoom feature in jaguar, you can use the zoom while using the mouse. For those of you who have multi-buttoned mouses you can configure the mouse to zoom in the screen. What use does this have?
I have an optical wireless microsoft mouse that I sometimes use far away from my monitor (I might be watching TV or studying on a desk slightly away from the computer area.) The mouse works from about 50 feet away, and I have configured the mouse so that when I press the scrollwheel and scroll up the screen zooms in. When I press the scroll wheel in and roll it back, it zooms the screen out. That way when I am sitting away from the computer I can zoom in the screen so that I can read what song to play on iTunes. It is VERY useful!
[Editor's note: This worked well on my corded Microsoft Intellimouse, as expected. And it's a great idea for what to do with the almost never used "press and scroll" buttons.]
