Configure a Linksys WAP11 from the Terminal

For those of you who are in possession of a Linksys WAP11 basestation ... the WAP Utilites for Unix is a set of command line utilities for Linux to configure this box, and it works on OSX as well.
Two caveats:
- You'll need to compile the utility yourself, and might need a small patch to get it going (I can supply the patch if you can't figure it out).
- The utility works from Terminal only.
After installation, it seems to work just fine. A bonus is that the utility is able to tweak radiosettings, something which the standard Windows utility can't. With this, you can boost power output a bit, which might extend its range a few meters.
