Highlighted text included in PDFs from IE Apps
A friend of mine recently pointed out that if you have some text highlighted in Internet Explorer and you choose Print and then hit the "Save as PDF" button, the highlighting is included in the resulting PDF. I tested this with another program (Mail) and it didn't work, so this isn't universal, but it is interesting, to be sure.

No need to highlight

I tried this with some highlighted text and it worked, but also without highlighting anything.
Before printing, you can go to Internet Explorer settings and select "print background pictures" and deselect "print headers and footers" (maybe it's not the same words because I'm french and have them in french). After that you have the exact copy of your page in (multi-page if needed) PDF. It's more universal than IE archive but you don"t have active html links.
