Another Wacom - Inkwell fix System
If you're having trouble getting your Wacom table to work with Inkwell in 10.2, go to your Preferences folder (in the Library folder inside your user's directory), and remove these files:

com.apple.ink.framework.plist
com.apple.ink.inkpad.plist
com.apple.ink.inkpad.sketch

Now launch the System Prefs application and fire up Inkwell. Everything should work.

[Editor's note: I had no 10.2/Wacom issues, but if you are having troubles, try this hint as well as this one.]

how do you toggle Ink with new Wacom driver?
Authored by: cornsyrupkills on Sep 30, '02 12:08:18PM

I keep hearing about the newly implemented feature in the Wacom driver that lets you toggle Ink on or off with the press of a button. Can somebody tell me exactly how this is done?

On my Intuos, it's done by clicking the top portion of the pen button.

how do you toggle Ink with new Wacom driver?

Using the latest drivers off of version tracker (4.7.5a6), and my Graphire2, you do the toggling with the button of your choosing. When you are in the Wacom Control center thing, and you are in the 'buttons' tab, you have a pull down menu for each of the buttons on the stylus, now 'Ink Toggle' is an option. When you click the Ink Toggle button, Ink goes from 'write anywhere' to 'write on inkpad only' and back again. So say I use the stylus to mouse over to my text box, I hit the toggle, do my inkin' and my scratchin', and then when I'm done, and want to go back to regular stylusing, i just hit the toggle again. Works great!

Another Wacom - Inkwell fix

I tried this with OS X.2.6, and it worked like a charm! I did not have the .framework.plist file, but deleted the other two and restarted Ink in Sys Prefs app. Now I have Ink! Cool; nice to have a simple solution.
