View expanded help tags in certain apps

Here's something I just discovered while perusing Apple's Online Help Guidelines. Developers can include two versions of the Help Tags (the little yellow boxes that appear when you hover the mouse pointer over UI widgets). To view the extended version, press the command button while you mouseover an item with a help tag.

As far as I can tell on my 10.1.5 work box, iTunes is the only app that actually uses this functionality. If you mouseover the plus button at the lower left of the window, you get "Create a playlist." Press command and you get "Playlists are groups of songs and are used to create CDs."

I know. Thrilling. But if more companies start using this functionality (and if Apple actually tells end users about it), the Help Tags could actually become a good source of info.
