One of the last remaining reasons for booting to OS 9 for me was the inability of OS X to mount PCDs (Kodak PhotoCD master discs). After installing Jaguar (10.2), I discovered that at least the discs show up on my desktop, but Photoshop, GraphicConverter or Preview will not open the .PCD files.

CDROM-XA
The reason that other applications can't read the files from PCDs properly is because MacOS X 10.2 does not support CDROM-XA format. This means that while you can see the contents of the disc, you can not copy off Photo-CDs or VCDs.
