Create email digests in Mail

I teach at a university and my students send me weekly emails with their thoughts on the material studied. To create a digest of their thoughts, I have to go manually through each message, copy it, then paste it into a Word document. It takes a lot of time.

Then I discovered that I can use the "Save As..." dialog in Mail app to make a quick digest of all e-mails together with email addresses, date, and subject of the e-mail. You can save all the messages in a particualr folder by simply selecting them and then clicking "Save as" choosing a format: plain text, RTF, or raw source. I know that many of us miss Entourage Many To Word script that did an excellent job of saving email digests as a Word doc but this shortcut should help those who migrated from Entourage to Mail.
