Generate a map of an Adress Book entry Apps
I just added some new addresses to my address book and found a cool mapping feature that I believe is new in 10.2. After I finished editing the cards, I double-checked the addresses and clicked the address type (e.g. home or work) and up popped a context menu with a single item, "Map Of". Click on this item and your browser will open to mapquest.com.

[Editor's note: There are actions associated with most of the other Address Book fields as well; click on the category label for each to see the choices.]

Phone numbers too

If you have Bluetooth on and are connected to a BT phone, then you can cause the phone to dial numbers or send SMS messages to entries in your Address Book. Also for incoming calls the caller ID information is displayed by the Mac (don't know if Address Book is crucial for this). Other integration support includes a "Chat" button in e-mail that is enabled if the recipient of an e-mail is actually found to be online while composing the e-mail. As iCal and other apps and services get deployed as well as integration with digital assistants we can really start to anticipate a new level of usefulness for these gadgets.

There goes the neighborhood!

Hi!

Does anybody know how to change the URL, or at least the host of the URL that is generated by this function?

I could not find the String mapquest in the Address Book.app-folder. Only this in the binary:

http:^@^@^@http://%@^@^@^@MAP_URL^@MapWebPageURLFromAddress
