Store encrypted notes with Keychain Access [10.2] Apps
Keychain Access version 3.0 (in /Applications -> Utilities) that ships with Jaguar has a feature that allows you to store text in a Secure Note. This is really useful if you have free form data that you want to keep on your computer with strong encryption. There are dozens of great uses for this including credit card or bank account information.

Not as good as I'd like

It's a great idea, but there's some things I really don't like:
You can't put in a return. Pressing return pushes the default "OK" button. Instead you have to use option-return.
No paste! If I've got a registration key that's been emailed to me, and I want to store it in a secure note, I have to type it out by hand. It won't let me copy and paste it in.

Anyone know how to get around these problems?

control click = cut, copy, paste, spelling, font

I tried this and found that by control-clicking (right clicking) I was able to cut, copy, paste, change fonts, colors, etc in the text box.

Although return as you said still had to be option return.
