Resending a message in Mail in 10.2 Apps
In OS X 10.1, you could resend a sent message through a somewhat strangely named "Restore from draft" menu item (the process is described in this hint). It was even easier in pre-10.1 releases (just double-click the message and hit "Send" again after editing).

In 10.2, the process is the same as 10.1, but the menu item has been renamed. To resend a message, highlight the message of interest in your Sent Items folder and then select File -> Open as New Message. You can then edit everything about the message (including the sending account) and hit the Send button. Why this menu option doesn't have a keyboard shortcut (and isn't located in the Message menu) are questions only the Apple Mail engineers can answer!

Try Redirect

When I want to resend a message I just select the message and use Redirect Message (Command-Shift-E). This opens the message with the cursor poised to insert a new address.

Try Redirect

Redirect is actually quite different.

When you do a redirect all the message metadata (headers) are left untouched unless you edit them.

Some additional headers are added (e.g.: Resent-From, Resent-To, Resent-Date, Resent-Message-Id)

That means that the redirected message will still show the original header (e.g. Date)

Resending a message in Mail in 10.2 II

I've discovered an even better resend method: Just transfer the message you want to resend from the sent folder to your drafts folder. Open this message and it is ready to go, receivers email intact.
