Open toolbar folders behind frontmost window
Sep 05, '02 09:39:04AM • Contributed by: Membranophonist
If you hold down the Command key and then double-click a folder in your Finder's toolbar, the Finder will open the target folder immediately behind the front one.

Command Triple-click...
I was curious about the way this works, and I'm not convinced that this was an intended feature. A single command click on the toolbar folder will open the window in front. I think what is happening is the second click is re-selecting the existing window, forcing it to become the frontmost one, just as the new window is being opened, forcing it to be behind the original window. |
