Use clippings to print to Classic printers

Like many users I have an unsupported "Classic" printer that prints fine in Classic but which has no driver in OS X. Here is one way to print webpages you view in Mozilla.

With the webpage up, just highlight the text you want to print and drag it to the desktop. Mozilla will create a Text Clipping. Then open up your classic app and bring up a new document. Just drag and drop the text clipping and go ahead and print. I used Word in Classic but I'm sure Appleworks would work too.

This a great alternative when copy and paste does not work correctly with Classic apps and when you have a perfectly good printer that is not OS X supported.

[Editor's note: As has been mentioned here before, you can also do this by printing to a PDF file and then printing that PDF with a Classic application. I haven't tested this method myself since replacing my Classic-only printer, but it used to work...]
