Quickly get into good iTunes visuals Apps
If you're like me, you may not like how iTunes takes a while to start showing the good visuals after you click the visuals button.

To get into a better visual, fast, click the visuals button once, then again to turn it off. Now you can press it again and it'll start at a more colorful visual instead of making you wait to go through the orange tunnel, which sometimes can feel like it lasts forever.

[Editor's note: I don't normally use iTunes in visual mode, and when I tested this, I'm not sure I noticed any speed difference. I don't get an orange tunnel when I start the visuals, but clicking the button twice does make it come back with a different pattern the second time...]

If the stock iTunes visualization plug-ins don't quite do it for you, try G-Force and Whitecap. There are a few other plug-ins on the web, but IMO G-Force is the best. Even better than Apple's.

Apple's is just a subset of the G-Force suite... no hard facts (I didn't read it anywhere), just an opinion I think anyone would agree with if you install G-Force and compare.

You can completely control the visual in iTunes.

the Q and W keys cycle through different patterns for the moving line.
the A and S keys cycle through different background effects
the Z and X keys cycle through different color schemes

m changes between random mode, user config slideshow mode and freezing the configuration

buttons 1 - 9 are user configs. they can be set using shift + # and then recalled by the button key, they will also be cycled in user config slideshow mode

thats the gist of it, play around with it and see what you come up with.
