Use iPhoto scripts from the dock Desktop
I'm not as sophisticated of a user as most that post to this site, but this little tip might help other newbies.

The iPhoto script for sending pix is fantstic for my needs of sending out pix of my two and three year old kids. However, it does clutter up the desktop. So, I just put the script in my dock and each time I want to e-mail pix , I grab the photo off iPhoto and drag it to the dock icon. I've set up preferences up for the script so that all I have to do is change the "TO:" address and click. It takes no time whatsoever.

Awesome and useful scripts!

I just wanted to say thanx for pointing out these scripts, and I strongly encourage anyone using iPhoto and iTunes to give them a try! After a few minutes I knew these would be very, very useful!

Try this little app: ImageEdit

Everybody who has a digital camera knows the problems: Picts are turned left or right, all names are P10100003 or so and you just want to change that quickly, but how ... ImageEdit is a small Program that uses the Quartz functions of OS X which are also used in the iPhoto Scripts. Now you can turn and scale JPGs and even change filenames.

More infos (just in german) under mac4ever.de/imageedit and download of the engl. version: ImageEdit engl. (124 kB)

And ist just mailware!

Missing iPhoto options
Authored by: springst on Feb 16, '02 02:31:25AM

This may just be a coincidence, but after downloading (and testing) the iPhoto scripts from Apple, I noticed that the 'Order Book' and 'Order Prints' options are missing from the tool bar at the bottom of the iPhoto window. Is this just me? Is Apple revising the server setup (it's 2:30 in the morning Eastern time)? Weird.

Missing iPhoto options

I have downloaded the script package and have been using them fine ever since. The options to 'Order Book' and 'Order prints' is still there and there are no changes to iPhoto at all.
