I have found VPC 5 to be totally unfit for use on X 10.1.2, Win98. Its performance is slower than dirt, even reniced to -20, and the single feature I bought it for (ActiveSyncing my Compaq iPaq with AvantGo) doesn't work reliably: every couple of times I'll disconnect the unit from its cradle and kernel panic OS X through the USB subsystem.

They've got a ong way to go before this product Ceases To Suck.
