Software Base Station setup walkthrough Apps
Will Clarkson has created a small Cocoa application that walks you through the process of setting up a Software Base Station on OS X. Using Sustainable Softworks' freeware IPNetShareX, Will's application takes you through each variable setting and provides some explanation as to what you are doing and why.

If you've been wanting to get the Software Base Station working in OS X, grab Will's application from his site and give it a try. Also make sure you read the FAQ for more information.

Very simple and it worked great on the first try. Now I don't have to switch back to OS 9 on my G4 to surf wirelessly from my PowerBook, and my Dell Inspiron laptop. Worth the download if you're trying to get OS X to run a software base station for your wireless network.

What do we need this for again? It is simple enough to setup without or with using Brickhouse.

What's Brickhouse? I tried Will Clarkson's method, but he said that it requires OS X on both server and client machines. My Wallstreet 233 is a bit anemic to run OS X, so I need to find a way to get SWBS running on my G4 w/ OS X. Any ideas??
