For those of us in the unfortunate parts of the world that cannot order the gorgeous iPhoto books, we can still print those books on our own printers, or make them into equally gorgeous PDF's for sharing. It's easy to do, just choose "Print" in the 'Book' mode (not the preview view in Book mode, though), then hit the "Preview" button in the print dialog, and "Save as PDF" in Preview.

Or just press option (alt) and click on Preview for a preview in Preview. (This sentence is correct but may be a little bit confusing. ;-) )

I'm well impressed with the PDF abilities of OSX. However on my experimentation with iPhoto to do just as you suggest the other night, no matter how I set the printing set-up I couldnt produce a landscape PDF. Is this a bug? Anyone else?.Maybe I'm just missing the very obvious!
