minor annoyance

I had the "Get Mac OS X Software..." item removed, and simply launching this app restored it. So, any customizations you have will be overwritten.

Works like a charm!

I can finally modify the apple menu like I used to be able to do in OS 9.

The interesting thing is that FruitMenu does not seem to modify the system configuration in any way. The changes to the apple menu go away after logout, so to get the changes back, FruitMenu must be run again. It does have a setting in the preferences to run automatically when you login.
