Change IE's address bar search behavior Apps
You may not have even known this (I didn't until I read about it today!) but if you enter "? some_search_term" (without the quotes) in the address bar of IE, IE will search for the term using the MSN search engine and return the results in the browser window.

Over at MacSlash, they've written a great article that explains how to replace MSN with the search engine. It's a fairly simple hack that involves editing a text file and saving the changes. I just tried it myself, and it works as advertised! Of course, I'm not using IE all that often any more, but that's another story!
