Updated Developer Tools released System
Apple has released a new Developer Tools package, with improved Java support and other improvements. You can download it for free if your a registered Apple Developer (there's a free online-only developer level available). You can download the whole thing (nearly 200mb), or just the bits and pieces you're interested in.

You need to start at Apple's Developer Connection Member Site, login (register if you aren't already), and the hit the Download link to see the new Dev Tools packages.

D/L speeds

I just downloaded the entire package from the European servers. They're pretty fast. I got 58k/sec on my cable modem (512 Kbps), took about an hour. I'd suggest getting a download utility though, so you can resume it because my connection to Apple's ADC site expired halfway through :( I found I could get around this by browsing another part of the ADC site whilst it was downloading.

Just a thought.

BTW, the WebObjects trial is pretty cool and runs out in September 2001.

I got about 150K/sec, so the site may be faster since the new tools became available.

BTW, has anyone gotten the debugger to work generating a simple command line unix C tool?

It worked fine for me (under Project Builder) in the original release, but after updating I can't seem to get the IDE to talk to GDb - has anyone else experienced this problem?

If so, is there a work-around?
