Access privileges after password change System
I recently changed my password as administrator in osX. Now everytime I want to do anything that involves the keychain I have to give my password whereas before it would let me have access automatically. This is particularly annoying when I want to access my email, (I use Eudora 5.1). Is there anyway to get my keychain to recognize my new password without me having to enter it everytime?

Use Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access

You might need to set your keychain password to equal your login Password once again.
To do so, launch Keychain Access from the Application/Utilities Folder
Under the "Edit"-menu you should find Something like "Preferences for <username>"
I think that might help,

keychain password tip

u cant set keychain pass for less then 6 letters
but your username pass can be 4 letters

change your password (in System Prefs, My Account)
it will tell u your keychain pass was changed to your new pass
now retur yuor pass to your old one, u got same messege
now your keychain is 4 letters and matches you user pass
and no more mail/eudora asking for keychain pass every time u
