Brightness control on PowerBook G4 System
After installing 10.0.1 update the brightness keys will work on a PBG4 once the Display System Preference panel is opened. This needs to be done after every restart, or put the Displays as a startup item.

Actually if for some reason you do not want to update to 10.0.1 (This also works under 10.0.1 saving the step of starting the displays preference every time), you can get the keys to work by going into your system preferences under log in and add DisplayServices.app it is found here:

System:Library:Displays

After you ad that to your log in they work great! The only thing left is to find a way to get the volume keys to work :-( Any ideas?
