Run Mozilla on Mac OS X Web Browsers
Since it seems to be a little known tidbit, Mozilla actually has been carbonized and ported to OS X - the port is called "Fizzilla" and can be found here: So far, it's working pretty nicely - though its rendering is not as good nor as fast as that of Internet Explorer.

As a big fan of Mozilla under OS 9, I looked forward to Fizzilla. Unfortunately, it's not quite there yet. My main concern is that it's dog slow compared to OmniWeb or IE. However, I did find another use for it:

I do my teaching notes in AppleWorks, convert them to HTML and upload them to my Web page for my students. However, the preview release of Appleworks 6.1 for OS X crashes when I try to save as HTML. So I write up my notes as usual and paste them into Fizilla's Composer, a WYSIWYG HTML editor which helps me finish them off nicely.

At this point, Fizzilla has the only HTML editor I've found that runs native in OS X, on top of which it's free for the download. So Fizzilla has a place on my desktop, just not as a browser, at least not yet.
