Link to a Visor PDA? Apps
[Editor's note: Please see the comments for the resolution of this issue]

I have recently bought a Handspring Visor. Thats a PDA with native USB-support. Unfortunately, the Desktop Software under Classic cannot access the USB-Port and thus not exchange Data unless I reboot into Mac OS 9.

Thanks for any help, ralf

It's my understanding that no USB peripherals (except the mouse and keyboard) will officially
work under OS X PB, either native or within the Classic environment. This will change as the
release version gets closer; whether they'll be supported in Classic or not is probably an
open question.

I have the same problem - OS X just does not see stuff connected to the USB ports, except....

Good News!! My Swann V90 MacSurfer USB modem works fine under MacOS X !!!

I am sure that, when I first installed, there was no USB modem option. I had to reinstall my
OS X to fix the terminal.app bug with tcsh (before I read a hint here that explained what was
up with that and that there is a simpler fix - thanks guys!). Ever since I did that reinstall, the
USB Modem option has been there and it works fine!!!

Now that's interesting! I didn't think there was any USB modem support in the PB.
Neat find!
